【グローバル】生徒が考える授業 No.2(中1)

グローバル教育

 We continued working on our process writing exercise using the ideas that the students wrote in the previous class. The students combined their ideas to create different sections of the story. The students were introduced to different sentence starters and they used the ideas to start writing their paragraphs. They were then taught how to use English Connectors to make their sentences flow smoothly-sentence by sentence. They were  introduced to the connectors `firstly, next, after that and finally.` The students will go through the process of editing their pieces and then create their final story.

 

中学グローバルコースでは、グループワークを通じて英語を学習しています。先週のマインドマップ(ブログでも掲載しています⇒https://www.kaiseikan.ed.jp/newstab/cat-everyday/post_17905/)に引き続き、生徒は、自分たちの出した意見をまとめる作業に入りました。

The general aim of this process writing activity is to allow students to formulate their ideas in English, use connectors to make their writing more like native English speakers and also develop an appreciation for writing and writing as a process.

  

この活動では、意見をまとめるだけでなく、その意見を文章にすることで「そして」「その後に」などの文と文とつなぐ言葉を使うことができます。書くことを通して、ネイティブが使っている自然な表現を習得するのが目的です。

抑揚のある文章を書いて発表できるように準備していきましょう!
